Honor Flight Austin took a group of 42 veterans to Washington D.C. in September 2022 for what they refer to as “a trip of a lifetime.” Flight #75 was indeed that.
Everything you can imagine, and more, was done to make the trip as comfortable and as memorable as possible. Although the vast majority of the veterans were from the Vietnam War, we were also accompanied by one 98-year-old WWII veteran and four Korean War veterans. It was just as special and meaningful for the “younger” veterans as it was for the older ones.
